Jenkintown Chromebook Academy

Summer Chromebook Academy

The JSD Chromebook Academy will be online only summer experience for students entering grades 5-8. We will offer a variety of online courses that will allow students to keep progressing forward educationally throughout the summer months. Teachers will be creating multiple online courses that will challenge and excite educational curiosity. Students interested in participating in the Chromebook Academy will be able to keep their Chromebook over the summer in order to tackle weekly challenges. See the poster below for more information.

Let Girls Learn Fundraiser

Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members:

Thanks to you, we raised over 3,000 dollars this year for The 7th Grader Fundraiser “Let Girls Learn.” In the past three years, the middle school has raised almost 8,000 for equal education and veterans’ rights.  Thank you for coming together as a community to help others and support such important causes.
Please see the attached letter to view “thank yous” from all the 7th graders.
On January 6th, let’s have our community come together for the rights of women and girls. Please wear your shirt and join our challenge.  Write a letter, email, or text to a girl or woman in your life encouraging them to be the best they can be.  Let January 6th be the day of the girl!
Sincerly,

Mrs. Hackett
